Rebalance aims to change the way we think about common pain/discomfort. Our goal is simple: to help you achieve a base level of physical preparedness that will grant you the freedom to achieve anything you set your mind to. Pain and injury have been experienced by all of us in some form, but chronic pain and constant injury signal the body is compromised. At Lift, we want to help you understand pain and lead you on the path to physical empowerment and freedom, whether this is on the rings at Lift, running a marathon or simply kicking a ball around with your kids.Our unique approach to injury and programming will help you restore your physical balance and allow you to walk away with a deeper understanding of WHY you are experiencing pain and discomfort. It will educate you on the responsible mechanisms and patterns and set out a clear pathway to a pain-free life inside and outside the studio.

A Rebalance session is 75 minutes long with a 30 mins follow up call to discuss the findings and next steps. The session itself is a clinical assessment followed by the assignment of daily non-negotiable exercises, specific to you and your needs.

BSc Sports and Exercise Science and MSc Sports Therapy
Shannon is fascinated by the intricacies of the human body and movement; in particular how such small and specific adjustments can entirely transform how a movement feels to the performer. After completing her Sports Science degree, Shannon moved into personal training and teaching Reformer Pilates. Her Pilates training along with poorly managed gymnastics injuries inspired her to complete a masters degree in Sports Therapy. With a shared vision to transform the way we think about injury prevention and management, Shannon joins the team to lead Rebalance and transform lives.

This is a very special place. What they are teaching is what I wish I had learned long ago - the fundamentals of movement. They are granular in their approach and forensic in their attention to detail. And it works. I'm only in my first week and so my impressions are still new - but they're formed enough to know that I made the right choice. Instructors really know their stuff. Class sizes are small. The attention paid to you is enough to make sure you can't get away with poor form. It's really challenging - and really gentle at the same time. Can't recommend it enough.
You have to try a workout at this place to understand why so many people have come in with a 5 star rating. While I don't mind going to the gym to lift weights every now and then, I don't find it particularly enjoyable. Lift, on the other hand teaches you to develop control and move your body - which is not only a great workout but it makes you feel good about yourself. I've taken 3 trial sessions so far with Kat, Jax and Mayoor and they have all been delightful! I recommend this place without hesitation.
Recently started PT with Angus, 5 sessions in, I already feel more aware of my body and improvements are easily noticeable. Highly recommended.

I came to Lift just wanting to learn to handstand, but have continued to train here because I have gained more than I ever imagined!
